This summer has been all about self-marketing. I've spent a lot of time on the computer at work, which gives me a lot of opportunity to stay up to date on all things Twitter - essentially, all things marketing, advertising, and social media. Luckily, this led to my finally purchasing a domain name.
Out of all those things I pushed off until summer because I'd "have more time", this is one of the few I'm following through with. And I'm super excited to really get into it. I'm hoping to include my resume, a collection of work I've done, and information of how to get in contact with me - including linking my Twitter feed and this blog. However, this blog has traditionally been a personal blog, not a professional one. That's why I've created a second blog (with my frequently-used moniker, kriserick) for professional use. Hopefully I don't find myself spread too thin in the social media realm, but social media is such a huge part of marketing and advertising these days, it's important I prove my aptitude.
